HTC U11+ Specifications and Features
The U11+ is a premium smartphone, and the hefty price tag explains everything. It rocks a 6-inch Super LCD 6 panel on the front with a resolution of 2880x1440 pixels, and the display is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass technology. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 835 SoC, which is coupled to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There's a microSD card slot as well for storage expansion up to 256GB.

The primary highlight of the HTC U11+ is its design. The phone is IP68 water and dust resistant one, which is good thing to see. The fingerprint sensor is present at the rear side below the camera module. And it also comes with Amazon Alexa integration. Yes, the U11+ is the first phone in India to come with Alexa integrated, alongside Google Assistant. It also comes with Edge Sense technology where a user can squeeze the sides of the phone to interact with it. This feature is also present in the Pixel 2 lineup.

While the primary highlight of the U11+ is its design, the second one on the list is that camera present at the back. The 12MP UltraPixel 3 on the U11+ scored a massive 90 points on DxOMark ratings. It has support for PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus), Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), f/1.7 aperture, and dual LED flash. It can record 4K videos with 3D audio. Up front, there's an 8MP selfie camera which is capable of recording 1080p videos.

The phone is backed by a 3930mAh battery and it' safe to assume the U11+ as the best battery flagship. There's fast charging support via the USB Type-C port present at the bottom. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC. As stated, the phone runs Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.

HTC U11+ Price and Availability
The HTC U11+ is priced at Rs 56,990 in the Indian market and will be available in a single Amazing Silver colour option for now. Interested customers can head over to Flipkart tomorrow and purchase the smartphone.

There were no teasers on Twitter, no media event, and of course, we media are not aware of the launch until the press release arrived. This is the scenario of HTC in the Indian market. The U11+, at Rs 56,990 is a premium proportion, and there are several better options than the U11+. Consider the LG V30+, which is priced over Rs 10,000 less than the U11+.
