HTC seems to be gearing up with new devices, as per the latest the reports, the company is working on HTC One M9 known as the One ME9. The device was initially spotted on TENAA sometime back this month. In accordance with the listing, the device will be known as HTC One ME9 and is most likely to be launched in India soon. Apparently, 1,400 dummy units of the HTC One ME9 were spotted on an Indian imports tracking website, Zauba.
The listing displays two devices with two varied numbers, so we can expect the phones to hit the market in two colors. The handset is dubbed as a toned down, affordable version of the HTC One M9+ with minor tweaks in the specifications.
The HTC One ME9 is most likely to feature a plastic design, with a 5.2-inch display with 2560×1440 pixels resolution. It may house an octa-core MediaTek MT6795T processor paired with 3GB of RAM. It might sport a 20-megapixel rear camera without the duo camera feature like the HTC One M9+.
All being said, the pricing of the HTC One ME9 has not been revealed yet and so is its release date. Also, we don’t have any information if the device will be made available to regions other than Asia.
