HTC One M9+ dummy and render leaked, expected to be unveiled on April 8th

In the past one year so much has been written about HTC’s One M9+ codenamed HTC Hima Ultra. Now, @OnLeaks has let out the unofficial render, photos and video of Hima’s dummy unit. In accordance with the leak, the device features a 5.2-inch display, which is a bit larger than the One M9 and it measures 150.9×72.5×10.15mm, making it somewhat thicker than the One M9.

HTC Hima Ultra

Provided that it has a larger display, which is why it is taller and wider than the One M9. It is also rumored to boast Quad HD display, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 or MediaTek MT6795 Octa-Core SoC varying according to the market. It might also feature a 3GB RAM, 20.7-megapixel rear camera along with a 2.1-megapixel depth-sensing secondary rear camera, 13-megapixel or ultra-pixel front camera and a 2,840 mAh battery.

The phone will feature a home button below the screen, which appears to be in sync with the previous rumors about the device. Also, the home button might also act as a fingerprint sensor and there are two speaker grills on both the sides of the home button. The image above is of the hands-on dummy of One M9+ from @OnLeaks.

HTC Invite

Interestingly, HTC has also scheduled an event in Beijing to launch One series smartphone on April 8th. The invite states ‘More than One’ along with a picture of the rear of the smartphone featuring two cameras that hint at the rumored device HTC One M9+. The design and body of the One M9+ is similar to the One M9, the same brushed metal unibody build.
