HTC has finally rolled out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for its One (M8) users in India. The OTA (over-the-air) update is being provided in a phase-wise procedure, and will be available for all the devices soon.

The update is of 650MB, we would like to advise our users to have make sure that they are on an active Wi-Fi connection when updating their device. The Android 5.0 Lollipop update comes with a better lock screen and improved notifications UI and enhanced recent apps list with support for numerous pages, and an inclusion of search option within the settings.

HTC One (M8) users will receive a notification for the latest update. For the users who have not received the message yet, they simply need to go to Settings—About Phone—Software update.
