The 16GB Wi-Fi only model has been priced at Rs. 28,900 while the 32GB Wi-Fi + LTE model has been listed at a price of Rs. 44,900. As of now, there is no LTE version of the 16GB variant and neither is the Wi-Fi only version of the 32GB variant of the Nexus 9. The HTC Nexus 9 features an 8.9-inch QHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) IPS LCD display, dual front-facing HTC BoomSound stereo speakers, an 8-megapixel primary camera, and a 1.6-megapixel secondary camera. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop, powered by a 2.3GHz dual-core Nvidia Tegra K1 processor with 64-bit Denver CPU cores, 192-core Kepler GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16/32GB of internal storage space.

Its connectivity features include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi ac/b/g/n with 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth v4.1, A-GPS (LTE version only), and microUSB v2.0 port. It contains a 6,700 mAh battery and Google claims that the Nexus 9 can last up to 9.5 hours of web browsing or video playback when connected to a Wi-Fi network.

Apple will be launching the iPad Air 2 and the iPad Mini 3 in India, starting at a price of Rs. 35,900 and Rs. 28,900 respectively. The Apple iPad Mini 3 will be the perfect competitor for the Nexus 9 as they are priced similarly and feature similar specifications. Given the chance, will you buy the iPad Mini 3 or the HTC Nexus 9? Please let us know in the comments below.

Rs. 28,900 is fair price and it will come down to 25K level within few months. But why the hell we need to pay Rs 16,000 extra for LTE + 16GB extra.

Even the Apple does it with Rs 10,000 extra for LTE chip. Qualcom sell that chip at less than Rs 1500-2000 to these companies.
