HTC finally launched its much-talked about HTC 10 smartphone in India. It comes with a 5.2-inch Quad HD display, 4GB of RAM, 64GB internal storage (32GB variant will also be available) and a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 820 chipset with Adreno 530 GPU. Also, the internal storage will be expandable up to 2TB via microSD card for both the storage variants.
The HTC 10 will be available in Carbon Grey and Topaz Gold color options, at Rs. 52,990. As an inaugural offer, the first 500 buyers will get be getting a free cover with the device. It is all set to go on sale from June 5. Another variant of the flagship, the HTC 10 Lifestyle with Snapdragon 652 and 3GB RAM will also be going on sale on the same, but the company has not revealed the pricing for the device yet.
Coming to the imaging department of the HTC 10, it sports a 12-Ultrapixel primary camera equipped with Laser autofocus, optical image stabilization (OIS), f/1.8 aperture. There is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera onboard with f/1.8 aperture and OIS (one of its kind front camera to be equipped with OIS). The device comes crafted in a metal body, which gives it a premium look. It features a fingerprint sensor, which is embedded in the Home Button. Backing the HTC 10 is a 3,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0. Like other HTC flagships, this one too features BoomSound speakers along with 24-bit hi-res DAC audio chip for enhanced audio output.
