Honor, a major Chinese tech brand, is soon going to launch a new smartphone in India dubbed as Honor X9c 5G. This is a new smartphone from the company after the launch of Honor X200 Lite recently. For a long time, we didn't see a new smartphone from Honor in India. Now, the company has teased a new phone via Amazon listing. The Amazon page suggests that the launch is super close. The name has not been disclosed on the Amazon page, but as per online reports, the design of the device matches the X9c 5G which has already launched in Malaysia.

The Honor X9c will likely go live in India on February 15, 2025, as per the tipster Paras Guglani (via a Gizmochina report). In Malaysia, Honor launched this phone in two memory variants - 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB. It will be interesting to see if the company takes the same approach in the Indian market too.
In Malaysia, the Honor X9c 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, which is not a very powerful chip. However, it does pack a 6600MAh battery with 66W fast-charging. In India, there might not be as large a battery inside the device, but the fast-charging support should certainly be there. As for the camera module, the device is expected to feature the Samsung HM6 108MP primary sensor at the rear paired with a 5MP ultra-wide-angle sesnor aand a 16MP sensor at the front for selfies.
