On gsmarena, it shows that the phone supports gigabit LTE so that means it supports 5 CA, and not 3CA as shown on the spec sheet. So yeah. It supports CA.

@kiran, it shows China networks . But will it supports Indian bands combination is a challenge. In this department only iphones and OnePlus excels .. the Huawei device might be beast but carrier aggregation might be limited … But I am surprised how few people have shown speed test on Airtel networks with mostly Honor devices with speeds upwards of 100+ Mbps. This is not possible without carrier aggregation

Actually Huawei makes devices for the Indian ecosystem too when selling those honor devices here. Otherwise what’s the point of them selling China CA support in India if it won’t work? The honor play supports 3CA with bands 1, 3, 5, 40, 41. And I’m sure they edited their modem files to support CA on all the bands given. So the honor which supports 100+Mbps is actually a 4CA handset which supports app Indian bands and all band combinations for 4 or 5CA.

Edit: Since the device is available for 20k, then I suppose it supports 3CA. And 3CA cat 12 supports 600/150Mbps and not 1024Mbps. They won’t add a gigabit chip in a 20k phone.

Even Nokia 7 Plus doesn’t have 3CA how you can expect 3CA in 20000 device. Oppo F7 chip supports CA but in Indian variant it is mostly disabled. I doubt Indian variants of One Plus 3/3T/5/5T also support more than 3CA. Only Samsung and iPhone have some kind of carrier aggregation.

Nokia is not a standard here, let me be very clear. In fact Nokia makes FUDDU phones that nobody buys also lacks service center support.

Oneplus 5&5T support 3CA

Every company is different. Nokia didn’t add 3CA for all variants of the 7 plus. For the Nokia 8 Sirocco, they used some sort of CA which supports only 450Mbps. Nokia preferred not to add 3CA to the 7 plus. Asus with their zenfone 5(ZE620KL) and 636 chip has 3CA for their phone, and it’s around 25k on eBay us.
