Huawei' sub-brand Honor has launched a new smartphone in the Indian market. The Honor Holly 4 Plus, which is an upgraded version of the Honor Holly 4 launched last month and comes with a better camera and bigger battery. The Holly 4 Plus is priced at Rs. 13,999, and it's an offline-only model as of now.

As said earlier, Honor has upgraded the camera setup in the Holly 4 Plus when compared to the Holly 4. The smartphone comes with a 12MP rear camera with 1.25-micron sensor and LED flash support. Up front, Honor has added an 8MP selfie camera which sadly doesn't have support for LED flash. The camera application also offers a slow-motion video mode and a pro mode.

Hardware wise, the Honor Holly 4 Plus comes powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC, paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB with a microSD card. On the front, there's a 5.5-inch HD display with a resolution of 720*1280 pixels. The display also has a 2.5D curved glass on top.

The device measures 8.2mm in thickness and a fingerprint sensor rests at the back, below the rear camera module. The smartphone will be made available in three colour options- Grey, Gold and Silver.

Connectivity options in the device include 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, and a micro USB port for charging and data transfer. The highlight of the smartphone is the 4000mAh battery, which is rated to deliver to 15 hours of web surfing and 20 hours of video playback.

Commenting on the launch, P Sanjeev, Vice President Sales, Huawei Consumer Business Group India said, "The success of the Holly series was so overwhelming that it encouraged us to continue making improved and revolutionary products. The Holly 4 Plus has been curated to meet the preferences of our consumers better. We have received an exemplary response in all our recent launches from the tech experts and our target audience. This is another offering from us with an aim to cater to the diverse Indian market and serve it in the best way possible."

Overall, the Honor Holly 4 Plus seems to be a decent offering from Honor in the offline market, but Xiaomi is selling the Redmi Note 4 at the same price in the offline market, which will give the Holly 4 Plus a huge competition.
