Huawei sub-brand Honor has been on a roll this year. The smartphone company launched quite a number of smartphones in India, the latest one being the Honor 8C. The smartphone manufacturer has launched the Honor 8C in India for a starting price tag of Rs 11,999. This model is for the 4GB RAM with 32GB storage model. Before the Honor 8C, the company unveiled the Honor 8X which retails for a starting price of Rs 14,999, this makes it the Redmi Note 6 Pro competitor. Although the names of both the recently launched Honor phones are almost the same – apart from the C and X – there are lots that are different as far as the specifications are concerned. The Honor 8X is powered by AI-backed Kirin 710 chipset, while the Honor 8C comes with Snapdragon 632 chipset. Similar there are lots that are different in both the Honor phones, let’s take a look at everything that the Honor 8X and the Honor 8C offer to the customers.

Honor 8X vs Honor 8C: Display

The screen size of the Honor 8X is more than the Honor 8C. The 8X comes with a big 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080x2340 pixels, 397 PPI and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. In comparison, the Honor 8C comes with a 6.26-inch HD+display with a resolution of 1520x720 pixels and a 19:9 aspect ratio.

Honor 8X vs Honor 8C: Hardware

By the looks of it, there’s no doubt that the Honor 8X is more powerful than the Honor 8C. The Honor 8X is powered by the company's own octa-core Kirin 710 chipset paired with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage, expandable up to 400GB via microSD card. The Honor 8C in comparison is the first phone to ship with the Snapdragon 632 chipset, clocked at 1.8GHz and Adreno 506 GPU. The Honor 8C comes paired with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.

Honor 8X vs Honor 8C: Software

On the software front, both the Honor 8C and the Honor 8X ship with Android 8.1 Oreo with Huawei's own EMUI 8.2 on top.

Honor 8X vs Honor 8C: Camera

On the rear panel, both the Honor 8C and the Honor 8X come with dual camera setup on the back. Coming to the Honor 8X first, the phone comes with a primary sensor of 20MP with f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with PDAF. The Honor 8C, on the other hand, includes AI-powered dual cameras that include a primary sensor of 13MP with f/1.8 aperture and a secondary sensor of 2MP for depth sensing. On the front, the Honor 8C includes a 16-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture, while the Honor 8X packs an 8MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture.

Honor 8X vs Honor 8C: Battery

The Honor 8C is backed by a massive 4000mAh battery which the company claims is capable of delivering up to two-day battery backup on a single charge. On the other hand, the Honor 8X houses a 3750mAh battery.
