Apple revolutionised the personal computing industry with the introduction of M1 silicon chips. In no time, the company introduced the M2 chip for the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro. It hasn’t been long since that, and now the company is reportedly moving towards the introduction of M3 silicon chips for Mac products.
According to a report from Bloomberg, Mark Gurman (via Gadgets360) has said that Apple is going to launch MacBooks with M3 chips this October. We could witness new products such as iMac, MacBook Air (13-inch) and MacBook Pro (13-inch) with the M3 chip. It is worth noting that Apple recently introduced a new MacBook Air 15-inch with an M2 chip. Whether the M3 chip would come with the 15-inch Air or not is something in the dark.

There was another report which cited TF Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo saying that Apple is going to be using the 2nd-generation TSMC 3nm process for the production of its M3 and A17 Bionic chips. The A17 Bionic chips would be introduced with the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro models.
The M3 Pro and M3 Max chips are likely to go into production in the first half of 2024. The next likely launch event that Apple has planned is the September iPhone event. During the event, we can see multiple new products making it to the market, including the iPhone 15 series as well as the Apple Watch 9 series.
Whether there is a new edition of Apple Watch Ultra coming or not is unknown at this point. Currently, if you want, you can get the Apple MacBook Air 13-inch and 15-inch, both in several countries where Apple sells its products.
In India, the Apple MacBook Air 15-inch with M2 chip is priced at Rs 1,34,900 on the official website of Apple. But if you check out other retailers, you can definitely get it at a lower price.
