On World Mental Health Day, October 10, Google's Chief Health Officer Karen DeSalvo highlighted a few startups from the program that are making strides in transforming mental health support:

O7 Therapy (Egypt) is creating an AI-driven platform that matches patients with suitable therapists, enhancing the efficiency of finding the right support.

Callyope (France) builds speech-based foundational models to analyse patient behaviours, helping clinicians monitor treatment efficacy and ensure timely interventions.

HearMe (Poland) employs AI-powered chatbots to provide immediate support and resources to individuals experiencing mental distress, aiming to reduce barriers to access.

"By offering 24/7 availability and personalised guidance, HearMe aims to reduce barriers to accessing help and improve early intervention," Google said in a blogspot.
