Samsung has launched a latest affordable 4G-enabled smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy J1 (2016). The company has also announced a “mini” variant of the device, named as Galaxy J1 mini (SM-J105), which does not support 4G connectivity. The Galaxy J1 2016 was first unveiled in Dubai, and for some markets, its 3G variant is also available. The J1 mini has been announced in the Philippines and can be seen listed on Samsung’s Philippines website.
Both the devices, the Samsung Galaxy J1 (2016) and the Galaxy J1 mini are dual-SIM, and will be up for sale in three color variants - Gold, White, and Black. In accordance with the past reports, the Galaxy J1 (2016) costs AED 499 (approx. US$ 136 / Rs. 9,080) in Dubai, but Samsung has not revealed any info about the Galaxy J1 mini’s pricing.
