Noida-headquartered RF equipment manufacturer Frog Cellsat has implemented its advanced OneDAS system at Lucknow Airport, ensuring mobile coverage throughout the facility. The indigenously developed system supports all eight prevailing frequency bands used by mobile operators and is future-ready for 5G upgrades. The system now provides mobile signal coverage throughout the airport to mobile operators, including Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone Idea, the company said on Tuesday.

This approximately Rs 10 crore Lucknow Airport project ensures comprehensive mobile coverage across all airport areas, including domestic and international arrival and departure zones, ticketing counters, airline back offices, and baggage collection belts, Frog Cellsat said, noting that the implementation has led to mobile users achieving data speeds of over 100 Mbps in crowded areas such as departure and arrival halls.
"This project not only demonstrates the strength of our technology but also highlights our ability to meet stringent regulatory and security requirements," said Konark Trivedi, Founder and MD of Frog Cellsat. "Setting the stage for our future expansion into other high-density venues like airports, metros, and large convention centres, we, as an indigenous technology company, are excited to be at the forefront of enhancing and supporting India's digital growth."
