Sunday People Speaks: Exceptional Services from BSNL in GoaWe often tag BSNL as a operator with worst customer care service. But sometimes you may get exceptional services from BSNL employees. You may call it luck or whatever, but it is true that BSNL fails to act when necessary. Anyway Let’s read Steve’s story of how BSNL turns good Samaritan to him.

I am Steven from Goa. I was an airtel customer for the last five six years I was very happy with airtel. But when I came to know that airtel dint get 3G licence in Goa I was very disappointed. The only operator with 3G that time was BSNL. So I decided to move to BSNL via MNP.

I gave the request for MNP and after about 10 days my number was ported to BSNL. I was very happy to see 3G network on my cell phone. Got sms to dial 123 to activate the services. So I did that and my services were active.

Just to cross check I gave a miss call on my landline which was of airtel it went through. Now I tried to call my number from my landline and I was shocked to hear what they said. It said that number did not exist. After checking from all the networks I found out that I was not getting incoming calls and sms’s from airtel and BSNL numbers. That movement I thought why did I moved to BSNL.

After repeatedly trying I got through BSNL CC and told him my problem. He told me to visit the nearest CSC so I visited Margoa CSC south GOA. There they were least bother to listen to my case. They were unable to solve my problem. They took my number and told me to come later. I was completely helpless.

In the mean time I remembered one of my friends who work in BSNL local exchange. I called him and told him my problem. So he told me to meet this lady named Beeni who works in BSNL as TTA {telecom technical assistance} under CSC.

So I went to her and told her my problem. She was very kind enough to hear my whole problem. She took my alternate contact number and gave me assurance that my problem will be solved. And within 3 hours my problem was solved.

I was really amazed to see that people like Beeni are there in BSNL who are always ready to help their customers

I am really thankful Ms Beeni for solving my issue.
