Eros International announces tie-up with Asianet Broadband to launch Broadband Movies

erosThe Indian motion picture production and distribution company Eros International’s online entertainment service ErosNow has announced a partnership with Asianet broadband to launch a monthly subscription-based movie streaming service called Broadband Movies. The service is in line with Eros International’s strategy to gain South Indian market share. Earlier Eros had tied up for a similar offering with Hathway broadband.

Broadband Movies will be accessible to Asianet customers, enabling them to enjoy wide range of entertainment services including South Indian movies and music from ErosNow. In addition, the service is multi-device enabled. As a launch offer, customers are given with a one-month free subscription.




“We are delighted to partner Asianet Broadband and bring the best in movies to its large subscriber base in Kerala. Asianet’s large-scale bandwidth and high speed will allow users to view unlimited entertainment from our wide catalogue,” said Rishika Lulla Singh, Chief Executive Officer, Eros Digital.

Asianet Broadband too expressed its happiness in associating with Eros International. “We are excited to offer ErosNow, a unique digital entertainment platform, to our subscribers. This will help our customers watch and listen to movies, music, and other content in all Indian languages with high quality. This association will take the consumer viewing experience to the next level, said Satish Kumar, Executive Vice President, Asianet Broadband.

“Our technology to deliver high-speed broadband connections has been possible through the implementation of Docsis and fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) technologies, which have the capacity to deliver up to 300 Mbps broadband service to individuals. It will definitely boost the picture quality and ensure ultra-high speeds to the Asianet broadband subscribers, which will enhance the video streaming experience,” added Jiji John, Vice President, Asianet Broadband.
