Empire Access, a Northeast fiber-based internet service provider (ISP), has announced the availability of its high-speed internet services in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, a city located 40 miles south of Scranton. This expansion brings fiber connectivity to over 4,000 addresses for both residential and business customers in the area, the ISP said on Tuesday.

Expansion of Fiber Connectivity in Hazleton
Empire Access provides internet services to residential and business customers in northern Pennsylvania and upstate New York. The new fiber network covers approximately 14 miles in Hazleton, offering symmetrical speeds of up to 2 Gbps. Services in Hazleton are now available in most areas and will continue to roll out until the buildout is fully completed by mid-2025, the official release said.
