This meant that Dish TV did not boast of having the most number of subscribers anymore and that Tata Sky now had the most subscriber share. But, this revelation surely put a pressure on Dish TV to up its game in the industry and propelled it to make its offerings more attractive for the existing and new subscribers. The DTH operator now needs to hold on to its existing subscriber base, while also adding new subscribers by luring them to its services. To accomplish this, Dish TV is taking help of these benefits.

Double Benefit on Long-Term Plans

Dish TV is one of the DTH operators in the industry which has one of the most attractive long-term plans for its subscribers. The customers of the DTH operator can decide to pay upfront for a certain period, and as a benefit, these customers would get free service days. Now previously, the long-term plans for Dish TV were a little different and not as attractive, but under a limited period offer, the subscribers will be able to enjoy much more generous free service days. Under this offer, which ends on October 31, the subscribers would be able to get 60 days of free service if they pay upfront for 10 months of service. This means that the subscribers would have to pay for 10 months of service, and they would get an entire year worth of service for the same amount, or simply put two months of extra service.

More than 250 Channels For Less than Rs 219

Dish TV is also the only subscribers right now in the industry, which is allowing the subscribers to choose channel packs which are available at older prices. This means that the subscribers who would be choosing these packs would be getting very reasonable prices for these channels. However, there is a catch with this festive offer, and that is the commitment period for this subscription. The subscribers who would like to get these channel packs for their subscription would have to get these channel packs for two years straight. This means that for example, the customers want the Family Entertainment SD channel pack at the older price of Rs 219 per month, then they would have to pay the Rs 5,256 price which is the 24-month price for the particular channel pack.

However, Dish SMRT Kit from Dish TV is another affordable way for the subscribers of Dish TV to smartly connect their Set-Top Box to the internet to access OTT content. The Dish SMRT Kit also comes with Alexa Skills which means that if you get the Dish SMRT Kit, then you would be able to control your Set-Top Box with voice commands, set timers, alarms and control all your other smart home devices. The Dish SMRT Kit comes for Rs 1,199 and a monthly usage fee of Rs 49 per month which would be applicable from the fourth month.
