Xiaomi is ruling not only the Indian smartphone market but also the television industry. The company entered the Indian TV market just last year, and in just one year, it managed to become the top Smart TV manufacturing company of the country. There are other companies too who sell pretty affordable smart Android TVs in India, and one of them is Daiwa. The relatively new company has launched a new smart TV in India called the D42E50S 40-inch Android-based TV. The new Daiwa D42E50S 40-inch Android-based TV has been launched for a price tag of Rs 18,990. The Daiwa D42E50S 40-inch Android-based TV runs on a very old Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. In comparison, all the Mi TVs that are available in India run on Android Oreo software and then there’s the company’s self-customised PatchWall as well.




Daiwa D42E50S 40-Inch Android-Based TV Features

As far as the offerings of the Daiwa D42E50S 40-inch Android-based TV are concerned, it comes with a display that has an A+ grade panel with a dynamic contrast ratio of 700000:1. This Android smart TV comes packed with a LED display with Full HD 1,920 x 1,080p resolution. Overall, by the looks the Daiwa D42E50S 40-inch Android-based TV looks pretty sleek and boasts very slim bezels on the sides. On the software front, the Daiwa D42E50S 40-inch Android-based TV runs very old generation Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.

For the audio, the Daiwa D42E50S 40-inch Android-based TV includes 20W box speakers which the company claims to offer “crystal-clear” sound in order to enhance users’ viewing experience.

The Daiwa TV comes packed with around five different audio modes and users can adjust the sounds accordingly to improve the clarity and sound power based on the ambient noise. On the hardware front, the Daiwa D42E50S 40-inch Android-based TV is powered by a Cortex-A53 quad-core processor which is paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage.

The Daiwa D42E50S 40-inch Android-based Talso comes with features like a TV app store which the help of which the users will be able to download their favourite applications. The Daiwa TV also comes with a feature called M.Cast which will help users cast videos from smartphones to the TV screen. The Daiwa D42E50S comes with several connectivity options like 3x HDMI, 2x USB, AV in, and TFT card slot. The Android TV also includes wireless connectivity options including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth among others.
