Vodafone Unveils New Rs 129 Prepaid Plan With 1.5GB Data, 28 Days Validity and Unlimited Calling

Vodafone has been launching new plans in succession to attract the subscribers in the prepaid segment. It is well known that after discontinuing the prepaid talk time tariff from its portfolio, Vodafone Idea has hit a wall on its subscriber count and in fact, there has been a decline in its subscriber base. Amidst all of this, the introduction of new attractive plans, freebies, and favourable revisions to its plans is the way to go for the telco. Recently, Vodafone has announced the launch of its new plan of Rs 129. Read ahead to know more details about the plan.




New Prepaid Plan of Rs 129 by Vodafone

The Rs 129 prepaid plan is a bonus card plan from Vodafone, and it offers unlimited local, STD and roaming calls within India. As for data, the plan ships 1.5GB 3G/4G data for the entire validity period with 100 SMS per day. The validity of this plan is 28 days. The good thing about this plan is that it ships a decent amount of data although not as much as the daily data recharge, along with voice calling benefits for the subscribers with almost one month of validity. This new plan by Vodafone will be available in Gujarat, Chennai and other key circles of Vodafone.

Rs 119 Prepaid Plan by Vodafone

A closely resembling plan in Vodafone’s portfolio which is much similar to the newly launched Rs 129 plan is the prepaid plan of Rs 119. The Rs 119 prepaid plan ships 1GB 3G or 4G data to its subscribers along with unlimited calling benefits for the validity period. The only drawback is that the plan does not come with any SMS benefits bundled with its offerings. The validity of this plan by Vodafone is also 28 days.

Rs 169 Prepaid Plan vs Rs Newly Launched Rs 129 Prepaid Plan by Vodafone

Another plan which Vodafone ships in its portfolio is the Rs 169 prepaid plan. The Rs 169 prepaid plan of Vodafone offers 1GB daily data to the subscribers along with the free unlimited calling benefit. Further, the difference between the Rs 119 plan and Rs 169 plan by Vodafone is of the SMS benefit as the latter comes bundled with 100 SMS per day and that one also ships daily data allowance as opposed to the same data for the entire validity period. It is worth noting that the newly launched bonus card prepaid plan of Rs 129 is a good choice for subscribers in this price range. If you are looking to get a Vodafone prepaid plan in this price segment with a month’s validity, the Rs 129 plan will get you 1.5GB data, unlimited calling and SMS. This plan is a good choice for someone who does not use a lot of data and mostly relies on calling.
