Coolpad finally sets foot in India, launches Dazen X7 and Dazen One

Coolpad Dazen has finally set its foot in India, today at an event held in New Delhi, Coolpad India CEO, Varun Sharma and Global COO, Li Wang unveiled the devices. The company launched two smartphones, Coolpad Dazen One, and the Coolpad Dazen X7 under the label of ‘Dazen’.

The Dazen X7 features a 5.2-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core processor paired with 2GB of LP-DDR3 RAM. The device has 16GB of non-expandable internal storage and sports a 13-megapixel of rear camera along with an 8-megapixel front camera. It is a Dual SIM device with 2,700 mAh of battery, which is touted by the company to deliver up to 50 percent of extra back-up. The 6.5 mm thick smartphone runs Android 4.4 KitKat and supports 4G LTE FDD connectivity (band not known yet).

Now, coming on to the Coolpad Dazen One, which features a 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor paired with 2GB RAM, there is 8GB of internal storage on-board, further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The device runs Android 4.4 KitKat with Coolpad’s in-house UI on top.

The Dazen One sports an 8-megapixel rear camera along with a 5-megapixel front camera. It is a Dual SIM smartphone and is backed by a 2,500mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, it supports 4G, 3G, Bluetooth and GPS.

Both the device are set to go on sale from June 9th exclusively on Snapdeal, for a price of Rs. 17,999 (Dazen X7) and Rs. 6,999 (Dazen One). The Dazen X7 will be available in Gold and Titanium White colors. Registrations for the sale of both the smartphones starts today.
