OnePlus today officially confirmed that a cheaper OnePlus phone with a 90Hz refresh rate display is coming very soon. The upcoming OnePlus phone will offer a similar display as the OnePlus 7 Pro, but it will cost lesser than the latter. Going by the rumours, it could be the OnePlus 7T. In an email interview with CNET, OnePlus Founder & CEO, Pete Lau confirmed that the company is launching a new phone with a 90Hz screen and it will be cheaper than the OnePlus 7 Pro. Notably, OnePlus India official Twitter handle has retweeted the post from CNET. So, it’s official that a new OnePlus phone is launching very soon and it could be the OnePlus 7T. That being said, we might see an upgraded version of OnePlus 7 Pro, possibly termed as OnePlus 7T Pro.

OnePlus 7T to Offer 90Hz Quad HD Screen
A few days ago, the complete spec-sheet of the OnePlus 7T was leaked online. Even that leak highlighted that the OnePlus 7T would indeed come with a screen that has 90Hz refresh rate. This is something very interesting to see, but at the same time, we may see the company hiking the price of OnePlus 7T again. The OnePlus 7 was launched in India at a starting of Rs 32,999, but with a 90Hz screen, we may see the price going upwards this time around. The screen size of the OnePlus 7T is said to 6.55-inches and there will be a teardrop notch on top.
