Celkon CliQ with 5-inch Display and 16MP Camera Launched in India at Rs. 8,399

Celkon has announced a new smartphone in India called CliQ and going by the name, it is clear that the device is a camera-centric smartphone. Placed in the budget smartphone category, the Celkon CliQ is priced at Rs. 8,399 and is available for purchase in major retail stores across the country.

Design-wise, this dual-SIM handset has a metal unibody with chrome lining. When it comes to the display, the Celkon CliQ sports a compact 5-inch IPS screen with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution and a 2.5D curved glass on top for protection.

Under the hood, the device is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Cortex A53 processor, clocked at 1.3GHz. The processor is clubbed with 2GB DDR3 RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The handset also gives you the option of expanding the storage further up to 128GB via a dedicated microSD card slot. The device is backed by a 2,500mAh Li-Polymer battery that keeps the phone up and running for a whole day on regular usage.

In the photography segment, the Celkon CliQ boasts a 16MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture, autofocus, and LED flash on the rear panel. The camera also comes with various other features such as Panorama, Bokeh, Face Detection, Beautification, Smile Shot, and Mirror Image to name a few. The primary camera supports 1080p video recording and video playback as well. On the other hand, an 8MP snapper sits on the front of the device for capturing selfies and for video calls.

The Celkon CliQ runs Flo OS based on Android Marshmallow 6.0 and comes with added functionalities such as setting up of multiple accounts, Smart Wake, Split Video, Flip to Mute, and more. The handset also boasts of a high-end BOOM audio player with BOOM Surround Sound feature. The phone’s connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 4G VoLTE connectivity, and a USB 2.0 port for external connectivity. The CliQ also comes with sensors like Gravity sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Light sensor, and Gyroscope sensors.
