BYD (Build Your Dreams) launched a new entry-level variant of its best-selling Sealion 7 EV, now priced Rs 8 lakh cheaper than the previous entry variant. It starts at Rs 41,90,000 (Rs 41.90 lakh) ex-showroom, placing the Sealion in competition with best-selling EVs such as the BMW iX1 LWB. BYD named this new variant Dynamic, which has trimmed a few features found on the premium and performance variants. However, it still retains the smooth ride and feel of the premium models. The new BYD Sealion 7 Dynamic variant competes with the newly launched BMW iX1 LWB, which also offers premium features and a similar range of under 531 km.

BYD Sealion 7 Entry-Level Dynamic Variant – What You Get For the Price?
Launched in February 2027, the BYD Sealion 7 has been the best EV under Rs 60 lakh in India.
As competition changed, BYD created a trimmed-down version of the Sealion 7, now 8 lakh cheaper and starting at Rs 41.90 lakh. The premium and performance variants remain unchanged, starting at Rs 55.90 lakh.
