The state-run telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is the latest to join the array of operators offering free unlimited STD and local call facility on their new voucher of MRP Rs.144. The pack that comes with a validity of 180 days (six months), offers free calls for the first 30 days and can be availed both ‘on net’ or ‘off net’. It would come with 300MB data.
The SMS charges under this pack cost 50 paise per SMS while in home LSA. While on national roaming, the local messages would cost 25 paise per SMS and STD messages would be priced at 38 paise. All other charges as per minute per plan. The new pack would be available to both prepaid and postpaid BSNL broadband customers. The data would cost 3 paise per 10KB.

Besides, BSNL is set to launch LTE spectrum across the country. For the purpose, it has obtained 2500MHz from the Government and the launch would focus on rural areas of the country in a phased manner.
