BSNL Fibre Ultra OTT New Plan Explained

BSNL Fibre Ultra OTT is the name of the 300 Mbps plan that we are talking about right now. This plan comes with up to 6.5TB of monthly data. The speed drops to 20 Mbps after the consumption of FUP (fair usage policy) data. There are OTT (over-the-top) benefits bundled with the plan - Disney+ Hotstar, YuppTV pack (SonyLIV, ZEE5), Lionsgate Play, ShemarooMe, and EpicON. This plan costs Rs 1799 per month (extra taxes applicable).

BSNL Bharat Fiber connections can be booked online and the great thing is that users don't need to pay any installation fee. BSNL has announced free installation of broadband connections and homes and offices till the end of this financial year (March 31, 2025). As of now, BSNL is testing new technologies and services for BSNL FTTH users. These new tech and services are Sarvatra BSNL Wi-Fi and IFTV (intranet fiber TV). These services are being tested in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry as of now. BSNL plans to roll these out commercially throughout the country in the near future. This will set BSNL FTTH services apart from its private competitors.

With the Sarvatra BSNL Wi-Fi, users will be able to use Wi-Fi network of BSNL outside their homes and get the same speed. The data will be deducted from their plan.
