Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has introduced a Mega Offer in select states and providing the company's recently launched prepaid STV 399 at just Rs 100 for new users who join the network. This offer is available for both users joining directly and via Mobile Number Portability. However, there are some catches with this offer. Firstly, this offer is available only for users who produce BSNL coupon printed on the domestic LPG bills of IOCL/HPCL. Second, the offer is available in only seven states respectively Uttar Pradesh ( East & West), Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Punjab and Jammu & Kashmir. The coupon will be provided by LPG dealers in the states.

BSNL Mega Offer: Details and How to Get a New SIM Card

Aforesaid, the Mega Offer by BSNL is applicable in the seven states mentioned above. To avail the offer, a user has to submit the BSNL coupon which is printed on the domestic LPG bills of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) or Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL). So essentially this offer is applicable for those who book their LPG via the two firms. In the press statement, BSNL said that the SIM card could be picked up after providing the coupon at any of touch points.

Anupam Shrivastava, CMD BSNL said that "Mega offer is a truly unlimited welcome-gift to new and MNP prepaid customers where @ Rs 1.35 per day for 74 days."

For those who submit the coupon, BSNL will be issuing the SIM card with the first recharge of Rs 399 at just Rs 100, which brings down the overall price of the plan to Rs 1.35 per day.

BSNL Prepaid STV 399: Benefits and Details

To recall, BSNL introduced the prepaid STV 399 back in August this year on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. Talking about the benefits, the state-run telco is providing unlimited local, STD and national roaming calls including to users in Mumbai and Delhi circles, 100 SMS per day and 1GB data per day. These benefits are valid for 74 days from the date of recharge. Users will also get free Personalised Ring Back Tone (PRBT) with unlimited song changing option. Once the daily data limit completes, the speeds will be capped to 80 Kbps.

BSNL introduced this plan to take on Jio's Rs 399 prepaid recharge which is currently offering 1.5GB data per day, unlimited voice calls to any network within India and 100 SMS per day for a period of 84 days.

BSNL Customers Get Benefits at Just Rs 1.35 Under Mega Offer

With this new Mega Offer, BSNL is providing services at just Rs 1.35 per day to the users as they'll be able to get the Rs 399 recharge valid for 74 days at just Rs 100. This essentially translates to a daily charge of Rs 1.35 and users will enjoy not only 1GB data but also unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day. The telco did not state whether its a limited period offer or a long-period offer.
