BSNL Offers Unlimited Voice Calls and Data Without Any FUP for 74 Days at Rs 399

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has long followed the tradition of launching festival based offerings and plans for its subscribers. Sticking to the same convention, now the state-owned telco has introduced a new STV on the occasion of Rakshabandhan 2018 which is the STV399. Under this new offering, BSNL will be providing unlimited calling, SMS and data benefits for a long term. This Rakshabandhan special offer comes at a crucial time where other private telecom operators are launching their own revised plans or new plans. Now BSNL is ready with the festive seasonal offer of Rs 399 to counter the other telcos offering similar ranging plans like Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel and Vodafone-Idea.

BSNL Rakshabandhan Plan of Rs 399 Benefits

This new STV by BSNL is coming at the price of Rs 399 and with a validity period of 74 days. The plan will be valid starting August 26, that is on Rakshabandhan itself, and it will bundle unlimited calling, SMS and data benefits. Additionally, BSNL will also offer the facility of a personalised Ring Back Tone (PRBT) similar to how the telco does it with its other STV offerings. However, there is another upside to this special Tariff Voucher which makes it stand apart from other plans being offered by BSNL. Under the unlimited calling benefits in this STV, subscribers will be able to make calls to other users situated in Delhi and Mumbai as well, something which other BSNL plans or STVs do not offer.

On the launch of this plan, BSNL CMD Anupam Shrivastava said: “Raksha Bandhan is a festival of unlimited love and affection between brothers and sisters, and in line with the spirit of the festival, BSNL is launching this STV 399 with all unlimited features which can be an ideal gift for anyone.”

BSNL Even Offering Voice Calls to Mumbai and Delhi Circles

With this new plan, BSNL has surprised its subscribers since the telco is now offering genuinely unlimited services of data, calling and SMS. Previously, BSNL used to leave out calling facility to Delhi and Mumbai regions, however, that is not the case with this plan. Users should make note that this plan will start shipping on the day of Rakshabandhan, August 26 and will be available under the name of STV399.

Reliance Jio Also Offering Rs 399 Prepaid Recharge

Similar to the STV399 being offered by BSNL, Mukesh Ambani led telco also has an offering in its portfolio for the same price. This prepaid recharge by Reliance Jio is offering its customers unlimited data, calling and SMS benefits as a bundled offering. The FUP data on this plan is 1.5GB per day, after which the speed throttles down to 64 Kbps. Users have the advantage of unlimited local, STD and roaming calls along with 100 SMS per day. The validity of this plan is 84 days, and subscribers also get the added benefit of subscription to host of Reliance Jio apps.

In Kolkata, Vodafone 2G is unbeatable. But if you visit remote places in West Bengal, you should take Airtel.

BSNL 2G is excellent in Kolkata, so is it’s 3G. However they are weak in certain villages in West Bengal.(South 24 Paraganas, to be exact). But you will get signals almost everywhere. So that’s not an issue.

Pio stable ?????

Yes, stable in heavy rains. BSNL is unstable in rainy days. Lots of headache using BSNL.
Also learn to type correctly. It’s Jio.

Reliance Jio overtakes Vodafone to become second largest telco by revenue in India.

BSNL being a old network can’t achieve this. If a network not earning enough, then the network quality is worst. Customers won’t pay much to quality less network like BSNL.
