BSNL to roll out high speed WiFi services in 10 cities of Andhra Pradesh

The state-owned telecommunications company, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has selected 10 cities of Andhra Pradesh (AP) circle where company will roll out its high bandwidth WiFi services.

We have identified 10 towns, including Guntur, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam and Tirupati, which will soon have high-speed WiFi services. In each town, we will provide WiFi hotspots to universities, public spaces like bus stations and railway stations. High-speed connectivity will be one of the primary growth drives in development of the State

The State-run PSU has taken one more step towards Digital India Project. For this, BSNL has given the contract to QuadGen Wireless Solutions Pvt Ltd for setting up Wi-Fi hotspots at public places in Andhra Pradesh. The state-owned telecommunications company will also roll out WiFi services for retail customers while others will have to simply recharge their accounts.
