BSNL Starts Offering 20 Mbps Free Broadband Connection to New Laptop Buyers

To increase its broadband subscriber base further, government-owned PSU, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has rolled out a new scheme, under which a new laptop/PC buyer can avail free 20 Mbps broadband connection for a period of two months. If you’re a customer, who purchased a new PC or laptop can avail this new offer from BSNL by submitting the bill of the purchase. To avail the offer, a customer has to submit the copy of PC/Laptop bill issued within two months prior to the month of providing BSNL broadband connection. After the submission of the bill, the customer will be eligible for the BSNL BBG Combo ULD 45GB broadband plan which was launched very recently.

To recall, BSNL recently launched the BBG Combo ULD 45GB broadband plan of Rs 99 that offers benefits of 1.5GB data every day with 20 Mbps speed. After the completion of daily FUP, the speed will be reduced to 1 Mbps.

Under the offer, BSNL will be giving the Rs 99 broadband connection with 45GB FUP every month for a period of two months. BSNL has introduced this offer on a pan-India basis, except for Andaman & Nicobar telecom circle. But the detailed procedure of where to submit the bill of the PC/Laptop is unknown at the moment. ‘The commercial officer of the area shall attach the same at the time of provision of new broadband connection under above promotional scheme and shall keep the copy of PC/Laptop’s bill in the file of the customer,’ said a statement from BSNL.

BSNL introduced this offer on a promotional basis, meaning users can avail it for a period of 90 days from the date of introduction (June 4). And the free broadband connection’s validity will be for two months, post which a user has to either subscribe to a paid broadband plan or either disconnect the connection altogether. BSNL did not reveal any installation charges which will be required at the time of giving the connection.

One of the worst Telecom company in world…..plz never opt for BSNL…..there service is worst….if u opt for connection u will get irritate from internet connection,as it always get fault every month, and takes 5-7 days for service.normaly you will be using only 15-20 days other days in month just waste…but bill we have to submit for full month even on time…..and after getting irritated if u want to surrender your connection ,then also u will get irritated as it’s long process, and to take back your security deposit is another toughest task of your life….so I suggest never to opt BSNL… Read more »

They are cheating you by taking extra Rs400 to Rs500. I had disconnected BSNL broadband when I got Jio 4G by buying a LYF smartphone. Going back to BSNL, a huge no from me. As it was killing progress at work.

With Jio I gained internet speed, less monthly expenses, free call, stable network, can use anywhere with its wide coverage even in some remote villages.

What’s wrong in going for better operator if it is available? You’re always triggered if a criticism is mentioned towards Bsnl and Samsung
