BlackBerry launches Porsche Design P’9983 Graphite in India for an insane price of Rs. 99,990

BlackBerry has launched a luxury-defining smartphone in India, named as Porsche Design P’9983 Graphite. The first version of the phone was announced in last September with the name Porsche Design P’9983, and the Graphite Edition was introduced in April 2015. The phone has touch screen capability along with a full QWERTY keyboard.

The device has been designed to accommodate luxury finish, such as leather back cover, glass keys keyboard, black glass display, and a Graphite stainless steel chassis surrounding the device. The BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9983 Graphite comes with a 3.1-inch OLED display with a resolution of 720 x 720 pixels, and is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon (MSM8960) processor paired with 2GB of RAM.

The BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9983 Graphite runs BlackBerry OS 10 and has 64GB internal storage, which can be further increased up to 128GB via microSD card. It sports an 8-megapixel camera on the rear with LED flash, along with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. In terms of connectivity, it supports 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, Micro HDMI, GPS, and GLONASS. It is backed by a 2,100 mAh removable battery.

It features BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) with a unique PIN that is recognized right away as a Porsche Design user. Moreover, BlackBerry is also providing an all exclusive Porsche Design PIN range - 2AAXXXXX with the device. The Graphite edition is just like the Porsche Design P’9983 except for the exclusive PIN service. The device has been priced at whopping Rs. 99,990 and it will be available through selected dealers in India.
