Bharti Hexacom, an Airtel-owned company posted a net profit of 101.9% YoY in Q1 FY25 (April - June 2024). The company registered quarterly revenues of Rs 1,911 crore, up 13.6% YoY and 2.3% QoQ. The EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation) stood at Rs 912 crore. The net income (before exceptional items) was Rs 193 crore, down by 23.7% YoY, however, with the addition of exceptional items, the net income jumped 101.9% YoY to Rs 511 crore.

Bharti Hexacom Key Highlights Q1 FY25

Bharti Hexacom's 4G/5G customers went up by 2.8 million YoY and 0.7 million QoQ. The 4G/5G customers now comprise 73% of the overall mobile customer base. The mobile ARPU increased to Rs 205 in Q1 FY25 from Rs 194 in Q1 FY24. Mobile data consumption per customer per month stood at 25.7GB, up 30.6% YoY. Homes and office business saw a growth of 16,000 customers during the quarter.

"We rolled out 268 network towers and 665 mobile broadband base stations in the quarter to further strengthen our coverage and provide seamless connectivity," Bharti Hexacom said in a release.

The company said that its homes business in now live in 97 cities using the local cable operator partnership model.
