Overall, Airtel is offering 98GB data with the same plan, whereas Jio is offering 84GB with the same plan. Both the plans are valid for 28 days from the date of recharge.

Alongside the data benefit, both the operators are offering unlimited voice calls including roaming calls, 100 SMS per day.

Earlier, Airtel used to offer 3GB data with the same plan, but it has modified the plan to offer better data benefit than Reliance Jio.

Airtel is offering these plans under the newly introduced Airtel Prepaid Promise scheme. Under the Prepaid Promise program, Airtel is offering all the plans as open market ones, putting them against Reliance Jio's tariff plans, which are open to every Jio customer.

Airtel has a Rs 509 tariff plan which offers 1GB data per day, unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day for 84 days from the date of recharge. Reliance Jio also has a Rs 509 tariff open for every Jio customer. It offers 2GB data per day, unlimited voice calls including roaming calls, 100 SMS per day for 49 days.

Both the operators even offering free subscription to their respective digital content services. Jio is giving free subscription to JioTV, JioCinema, JioMusic etc. Airtel recently announced that it would be offering free subscription to Airtel TV until June 2018 for Airtel prepaid and postpaid customers
