Bharti Airtel is Offering Better Data Benefit Than Reliance Jio With the Rs 799 Prepaid Tariff Plan

Bharti Airtel is offering better data benefit than Reliance Jio with the Rs 799 tariff plan, which both the operators introduced a couple of months ago. India’s leading telecom operator Airtel is offering 3.5GB data with the Rs 799 prepaid tariff plan, while the Rs 799 plan of Jio offers 3GB data per day.

Airtel Jio

Overall, Airtel is offering 98GB data with the same plan, whereas Jio is offering 84GB with the same plan. Both the plans are valid for 28 days from the date of recharge.

Alongside the data benefit, both the operators are offering unlimited voice calls including roaming calls, 100 SMS per day.

Earlier, Airtel used to offer 3GB data with the same plan, but it has modified the plan to offer better data benefit than Reliance Jio.

Besides the Rs 799 tariff plan, Airtel is also offering plans such as Ra 549, Rs 648 plan, Rs 458 plan, Rs 509 plan, etc.

Airtel is offering these plans under the newly introduced Airtel Prepaid Promise scheme. Under the Prepaid Promise program, Airtel is offering all the plans as open market ones, putting them against Reliance Jio’s tariff plans, which are open to every Jio customer.

Airtel has a Rs 509 tariff plan which offers 1GB data per day, unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day for 84 days from the date of recharge. Reliance Jio also has a Rs 509 tariff open for every Jio customer. It offers 2GB data per day, unlimited voice calls including roaming calls, 100 SMS per day for 49 days.

Both the operators even offering free subscription to their respective digital content services. Jio is giving free subscription to JioTV, JioCinema, JioMusic etc. Airtel recently announced that it would be offering free subscription to Airtel TV until June 2018 for Airtel prepaid and postpaid customers

To those who are not satisfied with the speed of jio :

Just say “The speed of jio 4G (thr future 5G network) is less than the speed of BSNL 3G”. $ u n n i will die.

Ok, BSNL 2G/3G/broadband speed is 1000 Gbps. You can download real things like muli, gajar, etc.
Also can download Boyfriend for you wife/girlfriend.
BSNL is the best 2G network in world which give 1Gbps in 2G/3G.

* Try at your own risk. You system should be capable to handle 1000 Gbps speed, else you will get 5KB/s to 120KB/s speed. Nothing more than that.

Jio 4G speed is slightly less than BSNL 2G.

Good handset, great speeds.
I have used airtel in Srinagar, i can say its best telco in Kashmir even on 3G its very good.
Is airtel network very good in other parts of kashmir also both calling & data wise ?
Can you name cities, places where airtel is good ?

The network of airtel is very good all over kashmir,I am not sure about jammu. There 3g network is so good as compared to 4g network at some congested places but yes i must agree Jio is also very good in terms of coverage i would say it stands with jio and in terms of data speeds its not that far behind,i have not seen a place in kashmir where Jio’s speed was less than 5mbps i would say that minimum, they maximum nowadays i get on jio is 30mbps whereas on airtel i get 60-80mbps but not at all places, thats only… Read more »

When I was in Srinagar I was constantly getting 30+ Mbps on 3G. This the thing airtel is known for, where Airtel is good it outperforms any network even Jio with its CA and all pure 4G play. Even I got 50 Mbps on Airtel 4G in some places of Gurgaon but not everywhere.

@Nadeem wow speed is constant but i think there is no point wasting 80-100 mb on speed test when you have constant speed.

January 3, 2018 4:41 pm 4:41 PM

I dont mind wasting the data coz i have got loads of data and can get more for some amount of money.Actually there is an issue which needs to be addressed by airtel,so they are in constant touch to check whether there is any difference or not, thats y i had to take so many speed tests
