Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 Gets Another Software Update That Adds AI Scene Detection Feature

Asus is constantly rolling out the latest software updates to its phones- be it old or new. The Taiwanese smartphone maker launched two new smartphones recently namely Zenfone Max Pro M2 and Zenfone Max M2. Even since their launch Asus has pushed several software updates to these two phones. The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 has now got another software update which mainly improves the camera of the phone. The latest software update brings some camera improvements to the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2. Asus has already released a FOTA update for the Zenfone Max Pro M2, and if you use the phone, the update should be hitting your phone anytime. The key highlight of this software update is that it brings AI Scene detection feature to the Zenfone Max Pro M2.

New Software Update Comes to Zenfone Max Pro M2

Asus has announced that the latest software has been officially released to all users. This means that all Zenfone Max Pro M2 users are eligible to get the update very soon. The software update comes with version 15.2016.1901.186 and brings camera features like AI Scene detection. Additionally, the software update also comes with the Android security patch for the month of January 2019.

In addition to the AI camera scene detection feature, the changelog reveals that the software update also upgrades Touch FW, improves front camera quality, improves system power consumption and also upgrades Google’s Android security patch which comes along with several improvements and bug fixes.

Asus has announced that the software update will be pushed out in batches. This means that all Zenfone Max Pro M2 users may not get the update in the beginning. Some users must have already received the update while others will receive it in the days to come. Head to the Setting tab to check whether your Zenfone Max Pro M2 has received the new software update or not.
