Asus Zenfone 5Z With 8GB of RAM and 256GB Storage Can Be Picked Up for Rs 36,999 Starting July 30

Asus has announced that the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version of its flagship smartphone, the Zenfone 5Z will be available for purchase on Flipkart starting July 30. Asus launched the Zenfone 5Z earlier this month in three variants, but made the device available only in two options with 6GB of RAM & 64GB storage and 6GB of RAM & 128GB of storage. Alongside the new variant, Asus also announced new bank offers on the upcoming variant of the Zenfone 5Z. Having said that, at Rs 36,999, the Zenfone 5Z is the cheapest smartphone with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The same variant of the OnePlus 6 is retailing for Rs 43,999 and in only one Midnight Black colour option.

Asus Zenfone 5Z 8GB/256GB Storage Variant Launch Offers
As mentioned above, Flipkart has announced a slew of bank offers for this premium variant. Customers with Axis Credit/Debit cards can get flat Rs 2,000 offer starting June 28, 2018. Flipkart is also providing flat Rs 2,000 off on credit, debit & EMI in the first 20 days after the launch. Notably, the Rs 2,000 discount offer on Axis cards is also valid on other storage variants of Zenfone 5Z.

Users can also pick up the Flipkart Complete Mobile Protection plan worth Rs 2,299 at a discounted price of Rs 499. Telecom operator Jio will be giving an instant cashback of Rs 2,200 and 100GB (10GB data voucher per recharge for first 10 recharges) additional 4G data.

Asus Zenfone 5Z Specifications and Features
The Asus Zenfone 5Z is an excellent value for money flagship smartphone one can pick up right now. The Zenfone 5Z rocks a 6.2-inch SuperIPS Full HD+ display on the front with 19:9 aspect ratio and 90% screen-to-body ratio. The smartphone is powered by the latest and greatest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset and will be available in 6GB/8GB RAM options paired with 64GB/128GB/256GB of storage.

The handset rocks dual cameras on the rear side- a 12MP primary works in tandem with an 8MP secondary wide-angle sensor. Asus has added a lot of AI features to the smartphone. The phone offers an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

It boots Android 8.1 Oreo-based ZenUI out of the box and is armed with a 3300mAh battery.

The flagship smartphone from Asus can only be purchased via Flipkart at a starting price of Rs 29,999. At the moment, Asus is selling the Zenfone 5Z in two variants with 6GB+64GB at Rs 29,999 and 6GB+128GB at Rs 32,999. The premium variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage can be purchased on Flipkart from July 30 at Rs 36,999. Asus is selling the device in two colour options- Meteor Silver and Midnight Blue.
