It is a big day today for Asus as the Taiwanese manufacturer has launched the Asus ROG Phone 2 in India. The Asus ROG phone has been a very popular device between the mobile gamers and the hype around the Asus ROG Phone 2 has been high because of this reason. Now, the device is finally out now and it comes with a lot of new interesting features and specifications which have been amped up for the optimum gaming experience. Also, there are new highlighting features like the 120 Hz screen which Asus has been teasing for some time now. Here are all the specifications, features and pricing of the Asus ROG Phone 2.

Asus ROG Phone 2 Specifications

Asus has announced that the ROG Phone 2 comes with a 6.59-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The phone has an AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, and 10-bit HDR support. Also, being a gaming-focused device, the display of the ROG Phone 2 has 240Hz touch sampling rate and the touch latency measures at 49ms. Under the hood, the device rocks the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC reaching up to speeds of 2.9GHz.

Asus ROG Phone 2 Camera and Battery

When it comes to the camera setup, the ROG Phone 2 sports a dual rear camera setup out of which the primary sensor is of 48MP and the secondary sensor on the rear is a 13MP one. On the front, for selfies, the Asus ROG Phone 2 comes with a 24MP camera sensor. Another notable thing about the Asus ROG Phone 2 is the massive 6,000mAh battery which will, of course, ensure an elongated gaming performance. Asus also noted that the phone is a single SIM device and it measures 170.99 x 77.60 x 9.78mm and weighs in at 240.00 grams.

Asus ROG Phone 2 Pricing

Asus has announced that the Asus ROG Phone 2 Indian variant will come with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and in the box the customers will get 18W QC 4.0 charger, Aero Case at the price of Rs 37,999. There will also be another 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant of the ROG Phone 2 which will be available in the coming weeks. This variant of the phone will be available for Rs 59,999. This variant will also come with 30W charger and the Aeroactive Cooler inside the box. In this event, Asus has also announced accessories like the ROG 30W charger for Rs 1,999, Aeroactive Cooler for Rs 3,999, Lightning Armour Case for Rs 2,999, Twin view Dock II for Rs 19,999, Mobile Desktop Dock for Rs 12,999 and the ROG Kunai Gamepad for Rs 9,999.
