Asus has announced that the ROG Phone 2 comes with a 6.59-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The phone has an AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, and 10-bit HDR support. Also, being a gaming-focused device, the display of the ROG Phone 2 has 240Hz touch sampling rate and the touch latency measures at 49ms. Under the hood, the device rocks the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC reaching up to speeds of 2.9GHz.

When it comes to the camera setup, the ROG Phone 2 sports a dual rear camera setup out of which the primary sensor is of 48MP and the secondary sensor on the rear is a 13MP one.
