Asus has been launching a series of mid-range smartphones in India which have been received well by the buyers. This series from Asus includes the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1, Asus Zenfone Max M1 and more. One of the phones in the series, which is the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 has now started receiving a new update which brings many improvements for the users. The company will bring many new fixes and improvements for the user of the device. Asus has rolled out a firmware update to enhance the overall experience of the smartphone further. New Update Brings Firmware Version 16.2017.1906.056 for Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1

The new update for the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 bumps up the firmware version of the phone to 16.2017.1906.056. Asus has also issued a detailed changelog of this update which notes what improvements the phone will get after updating to this version. It is also worth noting that the Asus Max Pro M1 had received the Android 9 Pie update in the month of May. This new update from Asus brings some crucial feature of Android 9 Pie to the phone and these include:

New Features on Asus Max Pro M1 After Update

Digital Wellbeing offers a brand-new perspective at how you can cut down on how much time you exactly spend on each of your apps. With it, you can set time-limits on app usages, see how many times you open a particular app, which app notification gets most of your attention through the day. Optimised Unlocking experience as part of this new FOTA which brings faster PIN and Pattern unlocking experience, Optimised Battery Consumption which optimises your battery consumption for a much longer battery backup that takes you farther on your daily new adventures.

More features as part of this update include Optimised Dark mode experience which lends support for the Max Pro M1’s new update and enables better dark mode support across the UI, apps and app notifications that support the Dark Mode. The new update also brings on board the updated Google security patch of June 2019.

Asus Max Pro M1 Specifications 

The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 is one of the more affordable phones out there in the market right now, although it can be considered a little dated given the specifications that it ships. The phone boasts of a 5.99-inch Full HD+ screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset, up to 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, dedicated microSD card slot, 13MP+5MP rear cameras, 8MP front-facing camera and a massive 5000mAh battery. The Max Pro M1 also boots stock Android version of Android 9 Pie. It is worth noting that Asus has promised the Android Q update for the device when it arrives.
