Apple was supposed to release the iOS 9 and the watchOS 2.0 update last Monday, but the company announced that it had to delay the watchOS 2 update due to some bugs.
It appears that Apple has been able to fix those glaring bugs in the update as the company has released it worldwide to the Apple Watch today. This is six days after it the Apple iOS 9 update was released to compatible iPhones, iPads, and iPods.

The Apple watchOS 2 brings more watch faces along with an ability to customise them, native apps, improved performance and security, easier ways to reply and perform quick actions, Nightstand mode, and Time Travel.
