Apple Watch to debut in India on November 6

Last month many reports surfaced online, which claimed that the Apple Watch might debut in India in September, but that did not go as predicted. Apple unveiled its new iPhone line-up, the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus in India last week. In the latest development, Apple’s India website changed the ‘coming soon’ tag on the Apple Watch listing to “Available 6/11”. This new edit pretty much confirms the arrival of Apple Watch in India on November 6.

The Apple Watch debuted in the US, UK, China, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan and Hong Kong on April 24. The second round of launching on June 26 covered regions such as Italy, Mexico, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland and Taiwan. Yesterday, the wearable was made official in UAE too, with the base Sports variant priced at AED 1,399.

At the Apple event in September, the company unveiled new cases and bands for the Watch, which included the much-awaited Gold and Rose Gold Aluminum variants for the ’Sports’ model. There is no information regarding the pricing of the Apple Watch for India, stay tuned with us to get more updates.
