Apple Watch is coming to India next week, iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus to follow in October

If a report by ET Tech is to be believed, Apple is all set to announce the Apple Watch in India next week. The report suggests that the company will be announcing its latest iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus in India around the second week of October.

The report also says that Apple is looking forward to increase its sale in India in the third quarter (October to December). Keeping in mind that October is a festive month in India and by launching its products around that time the company could garner more sales. Also, last year Apple launched the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in India on October 17th, 2014, which was a month after the devices were showcased on the international platform.

Talking about the Apple Watch, which was unveiled on April 24th in the US, UK, China, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan and Hong Kong. The second phase of the launch was set for Italy, Mexico, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland and Taiwan on June 26th. Now, the company is bringing its much-talked about wearable to India this week. At the Apple event two days ago, the company also launched new Apple Watch cases and bands, along with Gold and Rose Gold aluminum Apple Watch Sports variants. Although, the company has not revealed the availability timeline for these new models in other countries.

The Apple iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S will be up for purchase on September 25th, in countries such as the U.S, U.K, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, and Singapore. The pre-orders for the same will start from September 12th in the previously mentioned countries.
