Android 4.4W.1 Update

It is a good news for all Android Wear users. Google has started pushing out updates for all the Android Wear based smartwatches on sale including the Samsung Gear Live, LG G Watch and the Motorola Moto 360. All these smartwatches are being updated to version Android Wear 4.4W.1. This update is expected to bring about multiple improvements.

Last week, Google listed a variety of software updates for the Android Wear devices. The new update doesn’t introduce offline music playback or downloadable watch-faces but adds a few goodies that are destined to excite you. Now you can choose your business end points when performing a navigation voice command. You can also choose exactly how you’d like to get there, with the option to select driving, walking or public transportation.

The update will also help you to add a few options while setting up an alarm. For instance, all users can now select how often they want the alarm to reoccur, similar to that on your smartphone. Most importantly, the update fixes battery issues as it acts as a performance booster.
