Airtel Xstream Box is the new launch from Bharti Airtel which aims at taking on the upcoming Reliance Jio Smart Set-Top Box. Airtel Xstream Box is an Android TV box from Bharti Airtel that will allow users to watch Live TV from standard DTH connection and content from OTT apps. Being an Android TV box, the Airtel Xstream Box comes pre-installed with popular OTT apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, ZEE5, HOOQ, SunNXT and so on. It also has support for Chromecast and it’s a 4K compatible box with Dolby Audio support. The obvious question that will come into every customer right now is: what about the Airtel Internet TV box that offers similar functionality? Well, right now we don’t have any information regarding that, but most likely, Airtel is going to replace the Airtel Internet TV with Airtel Xstream Box. Alongside the Airtel Xstream Box, the company also announced Airtel Xstream stick that also runs the Android TV platform. The Airtel Xstream Box is priced at Rs 3,999 and it offers Airtel Xstream app subscription free for 12 months.

Similar to the launch price of Airtel Internet TV, the Airtel Xstream Box is also priced at Rs 3,999. The box also comes with a one-year complimentary of Airtel Xstream app worth Rs 999, along with a one-month subscription to an HD DTH pack. As mentioned above, Airtel Xstream Box allows users to watch both DTH and OTT apps content.
