Reliance Jio’s competitive pricing and strategies have troubled other telcos ever since the Mukesh Ambani led operator stepped into the playing field. One of the most sought-after programs for Reliance Jio subscribers was of the JioPrime membership which cost Rs 99 for an entire year and this year was renewed for free for all the existing Prime members this year. Now Bharti Airtel has come up with a similar program called ‘Airtel Thanks‘ which will seemingly counter Reliance Jio’s Prime membership. Unlike JioPrime, the Airtel Thanks service is going to be an invite-only program for select postpaid and prepaid subscribers of the company depending on recharge packs, years of association etc. Also, the membership is going to remain free for now. However, Airtel might decide it in future to convert into a paid membership program.

Airtel Thanks Benefits
The members of Airtel Thanks will get to avail many benefits like up to 100% cash back on select recharges. Additionally, Airtel Thanks members will be eligible for 1 Year Amazon Prime Subscription at no extra cost, free handset damage protection and mobile security, free add-on connections, Cashback on recharges, premium customer support and subscription to Airtel TV and Wynk Music app. Having said that, users will be able to redeem these benefits only if they’re on the select plan.
How to Check Whether You’re Part of Airtel Thanks Membership
Airtel users should make note that the benefits of this program will vary from person to person and that the membership itself will only be available to select members. In case you want to check whether or not you are an Airtel Thanks member, you will have to head over to the My Airtel app on your mobile phone, where a message will be displayed “You are a premier member”. Further, inside the application only, members will be able to find the benefits listed for which they are eligible.
