Bharti Airtel has started offering Wynk Premium subscription to the Airtel Thanks Platinum Tier users at no extra cost. Airtel Platinum is the topmost tier under Airtel Thanks programme which the company introduced earlier this year. Airtel Thanks has a total of three tiers- Silver, Gold and Platinum and the benefits differ with each tier. Up until now, Airtel Thanks Platinum tier offered just Wynk Music subscription and even Airtel users had to purchase Wynk Music Premium subscription at Rs 99 every month. However, that has changed now. Airtel Platinum tier users can now enjoy ad-free calls on Wynk Music at no extra cost. Airtel is providing a total of 10 additional benefits to the Platinum tier users. Airtel Postpaid Plans Above Rs 499 Now Come With Wynk Music Premium Membership

Aforesaid, Airtel Thanks programme has three tiers- Silver, Gold and Platinum, with the latter being the premium offering of all. Airtel Platinum tier is for the postpaid users on plans priced above Rs 499. So Airtel Platinum tier customers can now enjoy Wynk Music Premium subscription worth Rs 99 at no extra cost every month. Earlier, this wasn’t the case as Wynk Music required an additional purchase of Rs 99 for ad-free music. Airtel Platinum and Gold tier users can still enjoy just Wynk Music with ads in between the songs.

Bharti Airtel has been tweaking its Airtel Thanks programme to take on the competition better. Airtel has separate apps for music and Live TV; Airtel Xstream app available for free on Android and iOS app stores allows Airtel users to watch Live TV and video-on-demand at no extra cost, while Wynk Music can listen to the latest songs. Notably, Wynk Music app is available to even non-Airtel users, but they will have to purchase the premium subscription worth Rs 99 to enjoy ad-free music.

Airtel Platinum tier users can download the Wynk Music app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store, and log in with the postpaid mobile number to enjoy the ad-free experience.

Airtel Thanks Benefits and Tiers Detailed

Earlier this year, Airtel introduced a new customer programme called Airtel Thanks which allows the company’s prepaid, postpaid and broadband users to avail the additional bundled benefits. Airtel Thanks Platinum tier users get the topmost benefits from the company. The benefits for Airtel Platinum tier customers include Netflix subscription for three months, Amazon Prime membership for one year, ZEE5 Premium subscription every month, Free courses for one year on Shaw Academy, Rs 150 cashback on FASTag, Wynk Music Premium subscription, Airtel Xstream App Premium membership, Airtel Secure, Airtel Books and VIP Service will be provided at the customer service centres.

The Gold tier benefits include Rs 150 cashback on FASTag, four-week courses on Shaw Academy, Wynk Music and Airtel Xstream App Premium subscriptions. Lastly, the Airtel Silver tier users get just Wynk Music and Airtel Xstream app benefits.

Bharti Airtel was rumoured to introduce a new premium tier to Airtel Thanks called ‘Airtel Black,’ which will take on Vodafone REDX postpaid offering. Airtel Black tier will likely offer the postpaid customers unlimited data, affordable international roaming services, free access to lounges at airports and so on. All the Airtel Platinum tier benefits will be included in the Airtel Black membership and the company is said to add even more benefits to lure the users. With Vodafone REDX postpaid plan already out in the market, it will be a matter of time for Airtel to introduce the Airtel Black postpaid offering.

Please provide update regarding new MNP rules as its 16dec now , so is new process active or still delayed ?

Ratheesh

I got UPC code on Jio network today morning. Looks like New MNP process is up. As per the new MNP rules, UPC code is generated by MNP service provider and not telecom service provider. So TSP cannot deny UPC code. They may block it however. TSP cannot withdraw porting request on behalf of customer. It has to be done by user by sending SMS to specific number.

FYI: 1. PORTING now available starting today i.e. 16 Dec 2019 2. UPC is valid for 4 days for all circles except for JK, Assam, and NE the PORTING code is valid for 30 days 2. Time of porting 3 days (within the same circle), 5 days(from a different circle) 3. Generation of PORTING CODE Rules: a)Earlier: Even if a customer is not eligible, system would generate a CODE and send(increasing burden for customers/retailers/cc). b)Updated: System will generate the PORTING CODE only if a customer is eligible. So, when you are not getting UPC CODE that means you are not… Read more »
