Bharti Airtel, in its latest move, has stated that the Google Pixel 2 range of smartphones will now be available for purchase on the Airtel Online Store with bundled postpaid plans and down payment option. The down payment start at Rs 10,599 for the Pixel 2 and at Rs 15,599 for the Pixel 2 XL. Only the Pixel 2 devices are made available on the Airtel Online Store, not the first generation Pixel handsets. The best part is the smartphones comes bundled with Airtel's postpaid plans along with other additional benefits such as free Airtel TV subscription, free one-year Amazon Prime subscription and free Airtel Secure device protection. Interested customers can head over to Airtel Online Store (www.airtel.in/onlinestore) to purchase the Pixel 2 devices.
Moving onto the details, Airtel Online Store has listed both the 64GB and 128GB variants of Pixel 2 & Pixel 2 XL smartphones. The 64GB variant of the Pixel 2 comes with a down payment option of Rs 10,599, while the 128GB variant has a down payment of Rs 12,599. Airtel has made both the 64GB & 128GB variants for 18 months of EMI with the monthly instalment of Rs 2,799.
Coming to the Pixel 2 XL, a customer has to pay down payment amount of Rs 15,599 for the 64GB variant and Rs 22,599 for the 128GB option. And for the next 18 months, they've to make a monthly instalment of Rs 2,799 which also includes the postpaid plan benefits from Airtel.
Talking about the postpaid plan benefits which come bundled with both the smartphones, Airtel is offering 50GB of data with data rollover option, unlimited voice calls even on national roaming without any FUP, 100 SMS per day, free one-year of Amazon Prime subscription, free Airtel TV subscription (until December 31, 2018) and free Airtel Secure device protection package.
The postpaid plan benefits are similar to both the smartphones. For the unaware, Airtel introduced its Online Store back in October 2017 to give customers an option of purchasing mobile phones on EMIs with a bundled postpaid plan. The Airtel Online Store already has over 20 smartphones from brands such as Samsung, Nokia, Apple and more. The Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are well-known as 'Best Camera Smartphones' out there in the market.
