Airtel 4G Hotspot for New Prepaid Users Ships With 1.5GB Daily Data for 224 Days

Bharti Airtel has again revised its Airtel 4G Hotspot offer for prepaid customers and postpaid customers. New Airtel prepaid customers purchasing an Airtel 4G Hotspot device will now get 1.5GB daily data for a period of 224 days from the date of inserting the SIM card on the hotspot. Airtel postpaid users can also purchase the hotspot device from the company and they can avail the benefits with Rs 399 and Rs 499 postpaid plans. Postpaid users can even get data carry forward feature on Airtel 4G Hotspot feature. Also, for postpaid users, the company is providing Rs 1,000 cashback on purchasing the Airtel 4G Hotspot. However, they will have to choose the Rs 399 or Rs 499 postpaid plan, while in the case of prepaid users, there's no such requirement, at least going by the company's website.




Airtel 4G Hotspot New Prepaid Users Offer Detailed

If you're a new Airtel prepaid customer purchasing the Airtel 4G Hotspot at Rs 2,000, the company will not provide any cashback like it's doing for the postpaid users. Instead, Airtel seems to be offering benefits in the form of free data. Of course, with the Airtel 4G Hotspot device, you will not be able to make or receive voice calls, so it's just a data-only device. New Airtel prepaid customers activating the SIM card on Airtel 4G Hotspot will get 1.5GB daily data for a period of 224 days. "Offer is valid for 224 days, from 48 hours of Airtel sim insertion in the 4G hotspot device (New Prepaid activation only)," says Bharti Airtel.

It is worth noting that previously the Airtel 4G Hotspot used to be available for Rs 999 which Airtel has increased the price of the device to Rs 2,000. So firstly, the interested buyers will have to purchase the Airtel 4G hotspot device normally for Rs 2,000. After doing this, they will have to recharge their Airtel 4G Hotspot with either of the two plans including the Rs 399 recharge plan or the Rs 499 recharge plan. At this point, the subscribers buying the Airtel 4G hotspot will also have to pay Rs 300 as activation charge as well. Upon doing this, the subscribers will get Rs 1,000 as cashback. The cashback will be credited to your postpaid account which can be used for future bill payments.

Airtel 4G Hotspot Recharge Plans

On opening the official Airtel website, we can see that Airtel has revised the prices of its Airtel 4G hotspot device. There is also the mention of two plans which the buyers can subscribe to, for availing the internet on their hotspot. The first plan of Rs 399 is the cheapest one available in the roster for 4G hotspot device, and this one offers 50GB data per month, and this one also comes with Rs 1,000 cashback. Another plan available in the Airtel 4G hotspot plans roster is the Rs 499 plan, and this one bundles 75GB data per month. Both of these plans mentioned above come with Rs 1,000 cashback, and both of these plans also offer the
data carry-forward feature. Do make a note that the Rs 399 postpaid plan offer may not be available in some circles.

Airtel 4G Hotspot Device Features

Now about the Bharti Airtel 4G hotspot device – this is an offering from Bharti Airtel as an answer to Reliance Jio’s JioFi. The handy device allows the users to connect hotspot on the go to connect their tablets, laptops etc. and it can connect up to 10 devices at once. Airtel has partnered up with Huawei to manufacture these devices, and they come with 1,500mAh battery making them last longer as well. The Airtel 4G hotspot also comes with the capability of shifting to 3G network, unlike JioFi, which always runs on the 4G network, thus making it better for use while travelling.
