Airtel launches 4G services in Bihar taking the total 4G deployment in state to 12 towns

Airtel has expanded its 4G services to few places in Bihar, including Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Purnia, Bikramganj, Jhajha, Daudnagar & Ramnagar. With this, around 12 towns in Bihar gets the Airtel 4G. Patna, Gaya, Siwan, Motihari, and Bhagalpur are the other places in the state with Airtel’s 4G services.

Commenting on the launch, Ajai Puri, Director – Operations (India & South Asia), Bharti Airtel said, “We are delighted to announce the availability of Airtel 4G in 7 additional cities in Bihar. Our affordable data and tariff plans for customers will ensure world-class mobile broadband experience on Airtel 4G network.

With the 4G services, Airtel promises a seamless internet experience to its subscribers, especially uninterrupted HD video streaming, superfast uploading and downloading of movies, music, and images.

The customers can get a free upgrade to 4G-ready USIMs. There are also some attractive launch offers, which the customers can avail.

For postpaid, the Infinity plans start from Rs.1199 and will offer 4G data with unlimited voice calls for STD, local and roaming. Using Airtel MyPlan, the subscribers can design their own plans as well. The special 4G packs start for Rs.1495 offering free 4G data for 90 days. There is another pack at Rs.1499, offering 6GB 4G data upfront and customers can get 1GB 4G at Rs.51 for the next 12 months.

Airtel recently launched a new version of its MyAirtel App, by including apps that will offer music, movies games, LIVE TV, e-books, chats, and more. Users can also enjoy free 2GB cloud backup with the new Airtel Cloud app and free calling with Airtel Dialer.
