Airtel Expands Wi-Fi Service to 3.9 Million New Households in MP, Chhattisgarh, Bihar and Jharkhand
Bharti Airtel today announced that it has expanded its Wi-Fi service to an additional 2.9 million households in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, as well as to an additional 1 million households in Bihar and Jharkhand. Airtel expands Wi-Fi service across 239 cities, including Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Raipur, and Bilaspur in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, and across 103 cities, including Patna and Ranchi in Bihar and Jharkhand, the company said on Thursday.

Comprehensive Service Coverage

"With Airtel Wi-Fi, customers not only get high-speed, reliable wireless internet service but also a host of other benefits, including access to unlimited streaming, over 20 OTT services, and more than 350 TV channels," Airtel said.

Commenting on the expansion of Airtel Wi-Fi services, Bharti Airtel, in two separate announcements, said, "Airtel Wi-Fi has now reached every corner of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, as well as Bihar and Jharkhand. With Airtel Wi-Fi, customers can unlock a wide range of entertainment options, including access to over 20 OTT platforms, 350+ television channels, and a reliable high-speed wireless Wi-Fi service at an affordable tariff starting at Rs 699 per month."

This expansion follows Airtel's recent Wi-Fi service expansions in West Bengal, Haryana, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Punjab, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, and Telangana.

Wi-Fi Plans and Benefits

The Rs 699 entry-level Airtel Wi-Fi plan offers customers speeds of up to 40 Mbps and includes entertainment benefits such as over 350 TV channels (including HD), Disney+ Hotstar, and more than 20 OTT services. Other Airtel Wi-Fi plan options include Rs 899 (up to 100 Mbps), Rs 1,099 (up to 200 Mbps), Rs 1,599 (up to 300 Mbps), and Rs 3,999 (up to 1 Gbps).
