Airtel Expands Wi-Fi Service to 2 Million Households in West Bengal
Bharti Airtel today announced that it has expanded its Wi-Fi service to an additional 2 million households in West Bengal. Airtel expands Wi-Fi service across 77 towns, including Kolkata, Siliguri, Durgapur, Darjeeling, Asansol, Burdwan, Kharagpur, Malda, Purulia, and Berhampore in West Bengal, the company said on Wednesday. This expansion in West Bengal follows Airtel’s recent Wi-Fi service expansions in Haryana, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Punjab, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, and Telangana.

Benefits of Airtel Wi-Fi

Airtel said with Airtel Wi-Fi, customers not only receive high-speed, reliable wireless internet service but also a range of additional benefits, including access to unlimited streaming, over 22 OTT services, and more than 350 TV channels.

Regarding the expansion, Bharti Airtel West Bengal said, “Airtel Wi-Fi has now reached every nook and corner of West Bengal. With Airtel Wi-Fi, customers can unlock a wide range of entertainment options including access to 22+ OTTs, 350+ television channels and a reliable high-speed wireless Wi-Fi service at an affordable tariff starting at Rs 599 a month.”

Pricing and Plans

The Rs 599 entry-level Airtel Wi-Fi plan in West Bengal offers customers speeds up to 30 Mbps and includes entertainment benefits such as over 350 TV channels (HD included), Disney+ Hotstar, and more than 20 OTT services. Other Airtel Wi-Fi plan options include Rs 899, Rs 1,099, Rs 1,599, and Rs 3,999.
