Airtel Introduces Two New Circle Specific Postpaid Plans Priced at Rs 349 and Rs 399

We have seen Airtel make a huge change in its postpaid portfolio in the past few weeks. This postpaid portfolio revamp by the telecom operator was considered a massive one because it removed a lot of postpaid plans and increased the starting price of its base postpaid plan, which now starts at Rs 499. However, it was expected that a lot of customers were on the lower rung postpaid plans as well. Now with reduced choices and minimal options for postpaid subscribers, Airtel has introduced a new segment for subscribers in various circles. Bharti Airtel has started retailing best-selling circle specific postpaid plans which are available in particular circles only and are limited to the subscribers in these regions.

Bharti Airtel Best Selling Circle Specific Postpaid Plans

Currently on the Airtel official website, if you navigate to the Best Selling Circle Specific Plans section, you will see two plans. The interesting thing to note is that these two plans remain exclusive to the circles mentioned with them in which they are available. Apart from these circles, these unique postpaid plans from Airtel won’t be available on the website for subscription nor will subscribers outside of the circles be able to subscribe to them. The two plans listed in this section include the Rs 349 postpaid plan and the Rs 399 postpaid plan.

Rs 349 Circle Specific Postpaid Plan

The first Rs 349 postpaid plan will get the Airtel customers 5GB of data per month with the data rollover option. Along with this, the subscribers will be able to enjoy ZEE5 subscription and Airtel TV premium subscription as well. The Rs 349 postpaid plan will also offer 100 SMS per day to the subscribers. Airtel has also noted that this plan will be valid only in Andhra Pradesh, Delhi/NCR, Karnataka, Chennai & Tamil Nadu circles.

Rs 399 Circle Specific Postpaid Plan

The second plan mentioned in the Airtel best-selling circle specific plans list is the Rs 399 postpaid plan. This plan by Airtel offers 40GB data per month with data rollover feature for the monthly rental of Rs 399. Along with this, customers get to enjoy unlimited local, STD and roaming calls. The plan also bundles 100 SMS per day. As for additional benefits, this plan offers ZEE5 subscription, Airtel TV Premium subscription and Handset protection. Airtel has noted that this plan will be available in all circles where Airtel is operational except Andhra Pradesh, Delhi/NCR, Karnataka, Chennai & Tamil Nadu.

With these two plans, Airtel has essentially reintroduced the Rs 349 and Rs 399 postpaid plans albeit with some restrictions. While the latter will be available in most circles across the country, the Rs 349 postpaid plan will be the one being limited to Andhra Pradesh, Delhi/NCR, Karnataka, Chennai & Tamil Nadu.
